I'm restarting this journal!
I originally began this journal 2 years ago with the intent of posting pictures and stories of my internship and independent research in New Hampshire for that summer. We see how well that went...
So instead of killing the journal all together, I've decided to give it new life. I have an interest in hiking (and geocaching too), and have decided to chronicle some of the more interesting parts of those hobbies.
But mainly, I'm going to write about my upcoming 3-day hike across parts of the Metacomet-Mondanock Trail. I'm doing this to raise funds for CFF, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This past October saw the loss of a rather sweet friend to the disease...this hike is my way of remembering him, challenging myself, and helping a cause that helped him through the 26 years he had on this planet.
So...Onward and Upward!
